Propagation Planning and Modeling (PP&M)

FASMETRICS specialized team for Propagation Planning and Modeling (PP&M) offers radio design solutions for a successful and efficient radio network deployment for any commercial wireless technology ranging from 2G (GSM/CDMA2000) up to the sophisticated interference based 3G (UMTS, HSPA, EvDo) and 4G (WiMAX & LTE) technologies. We are specialized on indoor planning implementing all indoor coverage systems (at an engineering level or "turn-key") by following a pre-agreed work practice with the customer. Radio design and planning for effective indoor performance include walk-measurements to define network parameters, system architecture and appropriate solution proposition according to specific loading expectations, selection of the appropriate radio ancillary equipment as well as final design and implementation supervision. For "turn-key" cases, we also offer installation & commissioning services for the proposed solution. We have developed our own indoor dimensioning software tools to assist on system architecture while we are verifying the pre-agreed KPI's through measurements.

Performance Management and Optimization (PM&O)

FASMETRICS specialized team for Performance Management and Optimization (PM&O) offer a continuous mobile network care process where network KPI driven quality is sustained during network evolution and cluster redefinitions. Network optimization services extend to data throughput measurements on the spot up to network benchmarking campaigns on a country level. Post-processing and detailed analysis of measured data is performed in house from senior telecommunication engineers with vast experience. We work together in order to define working procedures and data analysis thus providing customarily developed reports to demonstrate specific concerns, needs and requirements. We identify network issues and propose solutions. Performance Management and Optimization (PM&O) team may provide its own equipment and tools or may use the customer's to perform the job. We operate measurement and post-processing equipment from selected companies such as NEMO, Swissqual and TEMS while for the analysis we use the Actix platform.

Spectrum Measurements and post-Processing (SM&P)

FASMETRICS specialized team for Spectrum Measurements and post-Processing (SM&P) is focused on supporting any interested party with various RF and microwave field measurements aiming to verifying received signal strengths of intended and unintended radio transmissions for any technology and frequency ranging from 5Hz up to 20GHz. Spectrum measurements extend to various categories mainly aiming on electromagnetic safety (EMS), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) cases. All above works are performed in the field according to pre-agreed measurement standards (provided by us or the customer). Spectrum Measurements and post-Processing (SM&P) team may provide its own equipment and tools or may use the customer's to perform the job. Our measurement equipment is from selected companies such as Narda, Agilent and Tectronix, but upon special request we may find any equipment required for the specific application.
