Traditionally, the majority of network provider efforts to create high Quality of Service (QoS) for end users have been focused on deploying and maintaining a state-of-the-art network infrastructure to provide connectivity and advanced communication services. But to achieve high end user QoS, network providers need to first manage a level of network operational excellence while at the same time to reduce the associated costs. SONAR systems researched and developed in-house in order to bridge the radio infrastructure & operational gaps created during the years between advanced radio network equipment and “traditional” site construction practices. SONAR Systems target to a direct radio network improvement through deployment of cost efficient advanced site solutions.

Our latest developments on extremely high frequency millimetre wave front-end systems are aiming to unlicensed short range point-to-point data links supporting Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) throughputs and mainly targeted for 3G/4G backhaul applications. Our company successfully researched, developed and tested "pencil beam radiation pattern" waveguide cassegrain antenna solutions and highly efficient TX/RX duplexer systems for the 60GHz & 80GHz EH Frequency bands.

We offer various radio components for mobile applications. Our radio components portfolio includes:
> hybrid combiner units (1:2/1:4) for the GSM900, GSM1800 & UMTS frequency bands
> multi-operator/multi-band (MO-MB) hybrid combiner units for the GSM900, GSM1800 & UMTS frequency bands
> low loss (<0.2dB) coupling systems for the GSM900, GSM1800 & UMTS frequency bands
MO-MB combiner unit is a 19" mounted rack multi-operator / multi-combiner unit that may cater multiple operators with multi-band requirements on a single antenna line. Transmit/Receive diversity systems are supported where large indoor/outdoor co-location and site sharing applications are required to be deployed. Tolerating the 3dB loss of high power configurations on the antenna line may prove in various cases deployment relief.

Software as a Service (SaaS)
We are the first to introduce our software developments on radio mapping and geo-location of mobile radio base stations under the concept of Software as a Service (SaaS) to our customers. We are capable to pin-point on a map with ±100m accuracy (street level) your serving base stations as well as your competitors. We only need selected raw data of your measurements performed during your periodical network surveying. All measurement tools are supported (i.e. Nemo, Swissqual, TEMS, etc) as long as the raw data is uploaded on .csv files. Our SaaS offer provides you with the opportunity at a minimum cost to find out the locations of your competitor's serving base stations in order to clearly evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and the reasons behind them during your annual network benchmarking evaluation effors.
